Privacy Policy
This policy explains how iGift Company Limited collects, uses and keeps personal data through mascot-costume.hk. It follows the principles of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

1. What we collect
We collect information only where it is needed to answer an enquiry or handle a custom order:
- Enquiry and quotation forms: the name, organisation, contact number, WhatsApp number and email address you provide, together with project details such as mascot style, quantity, wearer size and event date.
- Correspondence: messages between you and iGift about quotation, artwork, proofing, production and delivery.
- Technical data: browser and device type, referring page, and aggregated anonymous usage statistics.
- Administration sign-in: access is limited to authorised administrators; a necessary cookie keeps an administrator signed in.
2. Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and prepare quotations or product advice;
- To arrange artwork, proofing, production, delivery and after-sales follow-up;
- For internal statistics, service review and website improvement;
- To meet legal, tax and accounting record requirements.
3. Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose it only where it is needed to complete an order you have confirmed (for example a production partner or delivery provider), to service providers that host, store, email or anonymously measure traffic for this website, or where disclosure is required by law or by a lawful request from an authority.
4. Retention
Enquiries that do not become orders are normally kept for no longer than 24 months. Order and transaction records are kept for about 7 years to meet Hong Kong tax and accounting requirements. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website uses necessary cookies to keep administrators signed in and may use anonymous analytics to understand overall usage. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser; disabling necessary cookies may affect the administration area but does not affect browsing the public pages.
6. Access and correction
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you may request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and you may ask us to stop using it for direct marketing. Please email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access restrictions and encrypted connections, to protect personal data. No internet transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive details through unencrypted channels.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the updated version on this page and revise the last updated date shown above.
